Government and Contract Services
Celadon has been successful in winning federal and state government contracts for research and development, most prominently Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) contracts. Celadon has won 4 SBIR Phase I/II contracts: Two Fast-Track contracts with the U.S. National Cancer Institute (NCI) for Primer and Probe design (marketed as ProbeITy) and LNA Rules; a U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) SBIR for GenoTyper and multiplex genotyping assays for improved warfarin dosing, in partnership with Marligen (now Origene); and an Office of the Secretary of Defense SBIR, administered and sponsored by the U.S. Air Force, for ImmunoFIT.
Celadon also has extensive experience in developing life science products, principally genetic and immunoassay analysis software - but also generation of genetic analysis data, and development of genetic and immunoassays. These capabilities are applicable to projects for a wide range of institutions, including software developers, custom oligonucleotide vendors, genetic analysis method developers, developers of diagnostic and research kits, CROs, genetic or immunoassay service providers, and diagnostic laboratories.
